"We did book a villa with an ocean view. And we got a very nice villa, clean and very comfortable. I would say it’s a bit of wasted money for the ocean view, because the villas are a bit behind the palm trees. But in general very beautiful and nice. Staff is very polite and friendly. Was a good experience."

"This is the second time I visit Mvuvi (July 2023). On the positive side the new hotel is very nice especially the new swimming pool. The food is unfortunately not the same standard as last year and inconcistent. Sometimes very good and sometimes disappointing. The service is also too slow. I also believe the prices for excursions and watersports are too high. We did all activities outside of the hotel at much lower costs. "

"This is a beautiful hotel in a great location, right in the middle of the very long Matemwe beach. We loved everything about the hotel. Our room - a junior suite with a beach view and balcony - was gorgeous and very large. There was a view of the ocean from every room, including the shower, and the room was very clean and comfortable in every way. The restaurant is also excellent as is the bar (better cocktails than most places in East Africa). Our favorite dish was the ceviche, but...
