"We thoroughly enjoyed our 30th Anniversary staycation at the Thompson! The staff was amazing and all of the outings that we were driven to in the House Car by Connie were fantastic. The champagne and cheesecake that was unexpectedly delivered to our room for our anniversary was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back!"

"I liked the Hyatt Place very much. The hotel and room was clean and presentable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I like that it's a short walk from the downtown Riverwalk. My only complaint with my stay is the traffic noise along St. Mary's Street, loud cars with loud music late into the night, but I understand there's not much the hotel can do about that. Overall it was a great stay. "

"We booked another hotel walking in and it was old and outdated, nothing like the pictures. We left without checking in and reserved the Contessa while still in the other hotels lobby. When we arrived at Contessa, greeted by friendly valet, walked in to a beautiful lobby with a Mariachi band playing. Check in was easy, hotel was everything we hoped for and much more. Staying at the Contessa saved our weekend getaway!"
