"We had a great overnight at Shasta Inn. I called after booking to make sure we had a 1st floor room and to see what time the office closed in case we arrived late. The employee was very nice and followed up with me once my reservation showed up in my system. He even called to see if we would make it on time or if he could set us up with a package with our keys at the door. I felt very well taken care of, like he went the extra mile. "I like this property. It’s a neat concept and anytime one of the sleeping options is a hammock hanging from two sides of the room, that’s pretty cool. It has a very hipster/mountain vibe. Very eco friendly and has a couple of very cool amenities. A yeti cooler in the room along with a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The beds are good and the bathroom is a good size. "The two most important things were that the bed was excellent and we were able to find a room in Mt. Shasta that didn't previously have pets in it. I had to call five hotels just to find a pet free room. The shower was less than stellar and I didn't use it. The front desk closes at 8:00 so we never saw a live person coming or leaving. "
