“Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. “My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Pagua Bay House. The property is close to the airport and has convenient parking. The room was clean, the bed was soft, the shower was huge, the pool was refreshing and everything sits on a beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean. The onsite restaurant and bar had great food and drinks as well. We will return for sure. Highly recommend!!”

“Would definitely visit again. It looked beautiful. Prices are same as you would expect in US. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food is good. We did not have the opportunity to walk the grounds due to me slipping and cutting my ankle. Beware of wet tile on patios. ”

“We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem.”

“Nixson and his mother are lovely. He took time to make sure I was comfortable, and kindly shared his knowledge of the plants in his garden with me Fridge, hot shower, comfy bed, nearby shops, atm, restaurants Some mozzies but there are nets so I slept great I went to Batibou beach nearby, about a 1hr walk, or 10 min drive.
