"I'd booked to arrive Sunday evening, looking forward to eating in the restaurant after a long drive. But got a message on the way saying restaurant was closed and key would be left at reception for self check in. Local restaurant recommendations were indicated and we ate in la Croix de fer, which was fabulous! But i didn't want to get in the car again after arriving at the hotel. Breakfast buffet good. "

"We stayed at the Hôtel l'Atelier for 3 nights for the Ironman Vichy race weekend. Hotel is a little outside the Vichy town in a quiet country side. There is a supermarket walking distance you can have everything you need. Hotel is very clean, and quiet. Breakfast was typical French breakfast and we had coffee/tea etc. during the day without any charge. "Great. Short walk to town. Comfortable bedroom, lovely shower room with nice toiletries and details, like a wash mitt.Big car park. Didn't eat so not sure on food. No drink making facility in room which would be nice. Nice and quiet (in a back bedroom) Ideal as a stop over on way to South (or on way back!) "
