"It is a shame that restrictions on improvements to this listed historic building mean that some amenities we take for granted in the 21st Century are not able to be provided - eg poor wi fi, no pool, no bath, no lift to upper floor (difficult stairs with luggage over 20kgs & no porter), poor tv coverage (no English speaking channel at all - not even news). "Hotel room served its purpose! Nothing over the top but a clean place to stay while visiting Orvieto. We did have a barking dog outside our room that was quite loud in the morning and later in the evening but that was the only issue we ran into. The staff were very polite and helpful during our stay!"
