"We enjoyed our stay at this onsen hotel. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome, and we were able to use the private onsen, which was refreshing after a long day. The only downside was that the room smelled strongly of gas due to the gas heaters, but we adjusted to it. The best part was waking up to a foot of snow! Very beautiful. "

"What really made our stay special is kindness and attentiveness of the staff. We had large suitcases, and though the train station was a five minute walk, the front desk manager noticed us struggle walking uphill and came to our rescue with a hotel van, loaded and unloaded our bags. The dropoff service was not included, and we did not ask for it. He did it out of compassion and kindness. Very touching. Food was delicious! Do book dinner if its available.
