"Location and actual building and facilities very good. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast of very good standard. Small items requiring attention specific to Room 15. 1. Mattress worn out and requires renewal. 2. Bathroom door Jamming at top requiring a real effort to get it closed. 3. Whilst the shower is excellent, the on / off control is so tight it cannot be operated with wet / soapy hands. It needs attention. Having said all this, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel."

"This is the third time I have stayed in the Cobo Bay Hotel. We had a twin room on the top floor. It was very quiet, apart from people leaving the pub next door on a Friday and Saturday night, over a 20 minute period. The room was very warm and cosy, it was easy to control the temperature. "Stayed for 1 week whilst on business. A friendly hotel and comfortable. Great honest home cooked food at a good price , restaurant busy with locals which is a good sign. "
