"what a charming hotel. five stars in every category except one- which they are aware of and inform you of in advance. Since the hotel is in a pedestrian only section of town you've got to park the cxar and carry your bags. Not a terrible thing. Yet- on this same trip we encountered a similar situation in Porto only this hotel would send someone to meet you and bring in your bags. The Rua Vilar might think about it. Everything else is exceptional and the luggage lugging didn't dampen our spirits....

"Had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Check-in was easy and efficient after a long a stressful travel day. Despite being on the 2nd floor, there was a break in the trees across the street allowing a beautiful view of the bay. Don’t know if the rooms either side of me had as good of a view. "Great price and very walkable to the historic area of town, if you get a city view, you can see the cathedral from the room from the top floors, loved it and would stay there again as our first choice, be prepared to walk around 10 semi hard minutes from the train station to the hotel, it’s very doable if your used to walking, otherwise, get a taxi which will probably get you there in less than 5 mins. "
