"I just stayed here 2 weeks. The property was deceiving from the pictures. Not exactly the quality portrayed. The place could use some updates. The breakfast spread was really good but was crowded if you don’t get there early. I recommend being early and you won’t be disappointed. The cleaning staff was very unfortunate. I know different staff clean different rooms so I can’t speak for all. The cleanliness of the over all hotel was good. The surrounding area was to be expected. I came to Brazil...

"Everything from the welcome to check-out was first class. Every staff member seemed happy to see you and concerned that you had a great experience. All this plus avoiding the crowds by having the Falls open to you after closing made for a wonderful stay. It was our first visit to a Belmond Hotel and we will look for these in the future!"

"After a long haul flight arrived at the hotel at 8am but check in was not available. Staff said come at 12pm and then 2pm but check in was done at 3pm. Staff not very helpful. Did not respond to emails before arrival date. Hotel is on a busy noisy street, windows are not double glazed. No coffee or tea facilities in room. Limited hangers. Overall hotel was basic quality. Hotel was in a good location. Breakfast had a good choice."
