"This is a very nice hotel with beautiful views of the ocean. The dining area similarly has open views of the ocean, giving a very calming atmosphere. The indoor pool is huge, with very nice tiles, one of the nicest that I have seen. The staff are very attentive and helpful. This was a very relaxed stay."

"We arrived late, but early for us with the time zone change. After check in we had a drink at the lively bar, Saturday night and the crowd was fun. We were not able to use all of the hotel amenities offered. Breakfast buffet was substantial, fueling us for our first day on Sao Miguel. We walked to the Pineapple Plantation which is nearby. Would gladly stay again. "

"Although this was more than walking distance from city of Ponta Delgada it still was close enough to drive, bus, etc. There were shopping and dining options in and near the hotel. Staff at front desk and bar were great, and we enjoyed it here for our last day before our flight, and drove to city after check out before we flew home in the afternoon."

"Everything was great, but the fact that they don’t refill coffee and conditioner and you have to pay for it €2 to get 20c worth of coffee is ridiculous. Was it worth to lose 1 star?"

"I was very pleased with our stay there. Only stayed one night because or a flight change. Good variety on the breakfast buffet. Pool was a reasonable temp. Nice to have houseboats and slippers supplied. "
