"We enjoyed our family stay. We had room 211 - spacious and perfect for a family stay. Even though this is the car park side of the hotel, it is very quiet. The on-site mini golf, driving range are both all family friendly and easy to use - we didn’t need to pre-book during our stay. The pool is a good size and you can use the hotel towels for swimming. Top Tip for families! "We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Braintree three times during our visit to the UK. We were particularly impressed by Kinliegh who seemed to be here, there and everywhere but still had time for the guests. Two observations, the temp controller in room 143 wasn't responding to altered settings and displaying an error message. The breakfast room seems inadequate for the number of guests compared to other Holiday Inn's, It's something we also noticed from a previous stay in 2016."
