"This is a beautiful and well situated hotel. The lake views are spectacular and everything you’d want them to be. The breakfast is superb as well and sure to please everyone. The only thing to note is that the shower can be a little tricky to step in and out of because the tub is very deep. "

"The staff at the front desk were fabulous. We enjoyed talking with them. They were able to recommend restaurants and things to do. The hotel was close to everything but far enough from the noise of the center of town. Each evening we had a bottle of wine out on their terrace next to the river that runs next to the hotel. Beautiful and relaxing with great views of the mountains.Close walking to the cablecars for hiking or to Aiguilles du midi. We enjoyed the hospitality of free coffee, waters and afternoon cakes. The rooms are on the smaller side but very comfy. No air conditioning so we slept with the doors open to balcony and the outside air. No bugs! Perfect for us. Highly recommend for your stay in Chamonix!"

"Excellent, lovely hotel that serves an above-average breakfast. Delicious! The rooms were small and it was a 10 minute uphill walk from town. But I would definitely stay there again for all its benefits."
