"Our stay was outstanding. We got to stay in an 8th century abbey! We had so much space and a full kitchen. Beautiful property. Our hosts were outstanding, very attentive, responsive, excellent breakfast prepared by the family, good wine made on-site, option for traditional dinner (we didn’t have it but it was nice to have the option), just wonderful overall! We arrived late and very tired from a long walk, and though the kitchen was closed were given a good meal in the outdoor hut near the rooms. The pool looks out over a vast and beautiful valley. Only--minor--drawback: the nearby town is quite small, and in fact one does need a car to do anything. "
