"The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the hotel is a little worn and could use some updating. The elevator is small and outdated; have to push down button even when going up leading to much inefficiency with people getting on for both directions. "Harold the General Manager made sure everything was perfect. His attention to detail is outstanding. Everyone was so warm and welcoming from the beginning to the end. From the friendly and professional staff in the ski room, Hugo and the girls at reception, the shuttle bus service, the concierge making all our bookings, the exceptional gourmet buffet breakfast every morning, the lounge area where we sat and listened to the piano being played beautifully by the fireplace. Stayed for a week, could have stayed forever. The views whilst having breakfast are breathtaking, as are the views in our room. And the best part is you are steps away from the snow and skiing. Perfection!"
