Discover hundreds of retail outlets, cafés and restaurants, and see one of South America’s tallest buildings at this modern retail and business center.

Take a break from Santiago’s historic attractions and urban parks to enjoy some retail therapy at the Costanera Center. This commercial and business center is home to a modern shopping mall with floor upon floor of independent stores and internationally famous brands. The complex also encompasses four skyscrapers occupied by hotels and offices, including the sparkling 984-foot (300-meter) tall Gran Torre Santiago, one of the highest structures in South America.

Go shopping in the seven-story mall, the center’s main attraction. Explore everything from bookstores and jewelers to sportswear and luxury fashion. Each floor has shops according to a theme.

There is little you won’t find in Costanera Center. There are banks, services and information on the ground floor. The next floor has specialist gift and accessory shops, such as perfumeries, jewelers, watch sellers and wine stores. The floor dedicated to women’s fashion has more than 50 shops, while another floor features men’s and children’s clothing. You can even browse sporting equipment and wares.

If you get hungry, head to the mall’s food court and choose from almost 50 dining options. Eat at a well-known fast food chain, a buffet restaurant, a steakhouse or a sandwich bar. For dessert, check out the ice cream parlors, yogurt bars and a café specializing in crêpes and waffles. Don’t miss the chance to watch the latest Hollywood releases at the cinema located on the mall’s upper floor.

The shopping mall is open daily. Many shops and restaurants remain open until late in the evening. Visit the center’s official website for information about opening hours, shopping discounts and special events, such as live music and fashion shows.

The Costanera Center is situated in the Providencia neighborhood. Take a 15-minute drive from Santiago’s city center or ride the bus or metro to Tobalaba station, which is a 10-minute walk away. The center has a large metered car park and bicycle parking areas.
