"The so-called hotel is actually a service apartment. THE ROOM ALLOTED TO US WAS SO SMALL THAT IT WAS DIFFICULT TO MOVE AROUND THE BED. THERE WAS NO PROVISION TO MAKE TEA/COFFEE IN THE ROOM. THE APPROACH TO THE APARTMENT AND THE SO-CALLED RECEPTION AREA (!) DO NOT GIVE A WELCOME APPEARENCE AND NEED A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT."

"Staff is lovely. Owner is kind and helpful, place is fairly quiet given it's central location near Hindu mission hospital. Shopping, market nearby but in hotel restaurant is nicer than most other choices. If your flying into chennai and want a nice rest away from the terrible airport area this is a nice choice. "

"We had an excellent stay at the Taj Clubhouse. The property is very well maintained and the staff is very courteous and extremely attentive. We were received with a welcome drink and the checkin was a breeze. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The on premise dining options are decent but the food itself was excellent and the staff was very accommodating when I asked for a customized dish that was not on the menu. Would definitely recommend a stay here."
