Be sure to check out live piano music there on the weekend. Beware that they don’t speak any English at this property, which I found surprising for a four star. "

"Everything was great about this place. Super clean, right in the beach, and close to downtown and the casino. There was just one really odd element- I tried to buy a bottle of wine at the bar downstairs to take up to my room, and this seemed to be a big hassle. The bartender had to call some one to find out how to ring it up and the tried to give me 4 glasses- I can’t imagine it’s a foreign concept for someone to want a bottle of wine in their room. "

"Although near the beach, the hotel is not on the beach, as it appears in the photos. Rooms are renovated but very simple, smelly toilet area and shower-head that sprayed on the ceiling. Not a bad stay, but definitely not a 4-star hotel, 3-star at best. Not worth the price, unfortunately. "

"An underground car park is opposite the hotel at euro 19 for 24 hours so made it easy to get to the car during storms, although car spaces were tight and much manoeuvring required. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby."

"The staff were very nice and agreeable. It's a fine hotel for the price. The only slight issue was the breakfast because the eggs were powdered I think or, at least, not very good. Hard boiling was the way to go. I think the breakfast options could be better overall. Other than that, it was good."

"Really nice new hotel in a good location. Very close to the canal if you are looking for a place for a run. There are 2 things they need to address to make it a great place to stay: 1. There are not enough staff on the front desk or in the bar/restaurant. The night that we stayed the service in both places was slower than I would have liked. This was not the fault of the truly excellent staff on duty. They couldn't have been nicer or worked any harder - there just wasn't enough of them to...

"All was well. Except for two things For an hotel of this class there should be USB ports to charge phones and ipads in the room. There weren’t and it wasn’t easy to recharge. The plugs weren’t firm enough to stand the plug converters and there was no surface near the bed or near a table. The staff was very helpful but some looked like students who were a bit at sea. Maybe think about more training? But except for this, all was fine"

"What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price. We could only stay for a single night but, if I'm in Normandy again, especially if I arrived off the evening boat into Le Havre, it would be my first...
