"We absolutely loved our stay at the Ponderosa. The Hosts are absolutely wonderful very attentive. They are super friendly and love to just chat with their guests as well as go above and beyond to help them. The property is absolutely beautiful with a lovely little stream that passes right by it. Our favorite part of our stay was being able to open our porch door and just listen to the stream while enjoying a fire in the fireplace. Not enough good things to say about how much we enjoyed our stay....

"I liked that this hotel was close enough to Anschutz Medical Center where I was having surgery at. This place was pretty easy to get too and right off I 70. It is kind of like it's own little area. There are other hotels on the other side of the freeway. It seems to be close to lots of trucking warehouses. It particularly doesn't fit in, but it also makes it nice. The night staff was great. "We’ve stayed at this Doubletree several times. During corona and after. The hotel staff has always been great and so has the service. The value for the location and rooms is great, even if some rooms are a bit unfinished. If you’re looking for a comfortable, happening hotel (the restaurant, bar, pool, gym seem to be always busy) at a reasonable rate - this is it. "
