“Check in was easy, bedrooms a good size and very comfortable beds. Heated towel rail & extractor not working. Tea & coffee facilities and a room safe. Cleaning staff could be a little more attentive during the stay. Food is very good quality and very well cooked, delightful dining room staff, thanks to Rory, Alex & Beth. Will return in the future to this ancient castle complete with peacocks!”

“Great hotel in nice location. Pleasant and clean inside hotel and room with nice grounds.Had dinner in the cheaper Glasshouse restaurant which was reasonable value. Only slight negative would be have to pay for use of spa if not booking direct. Not cheap at £20 for an hour and the spa isn't the best with insufficient room to swim properly and water not quite warm enough to sit about in (also best area for sitting the jets weren't working).”
