"Property is perfect and parking is a bonus. Large room with balcony and spotlessly clean. However much confusion when we arrived as we had not received the pre check in instructions with entry codes etc. it was pure luck that someone was on site to help us. However this was more to do with Expedia than the property? Would book direct with them next time "

"The staff couldn’t have been better. They always went the extra mile. The rooms were terrific, the breakfast was superb and the bar was fun. My only reservation is that, after breakfast, it was incredibly quiet and, I surmise because the accommodation is split between the hotel and accompanying lodges, there was no one around for much of the time. "

"Exceptional rework of historic fortress. Arched ceiling and sitting couch on enclosed balcony overlooking the sea is a totally unique feature. If you want elegance and quiet solitude this is the place!"
