"Our stay at The Caribbean Paradise lodge was very pleasant, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The grounds are very clean , lots of wildlife you can hear and see. It is 10 minutes away from Tortuguero village by taxi boat, but the staff is always ready to help with that. "Beautiful property with amazing, large rooms. Great patio with chairs and a swing bed. Large bathroom with a great shower, water pressure and hot water! Property was amazing with lots of trails and animals. Only downside was the transportation option offered by the lodge itself was very limited - they should offer more boat transfers from the mainland. And install blackout curtains in the rooms - made it impossible to nap in the afternoons! "
