"The room was comfortable, the breakfasts varied and delicious. We hired hotel bikes for 24 hours for €14 each. All staff (except one man) were friendly and helpful. It was next to lovely St Michaelis church and walking distance to centre and docks. I would recommend this hotel."

"Fantastic apartment hotel, great location right by an S-Bahn station, literally a couple of stops to the airport, and a short ride into the heart of the city. Apartment was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a kitchenette with a hob (stove top) and microwave. Very sizeable apartment, clean and quiet, barely bumped into any other guests outside of the communal social area on the first floor - will definitely be staying here again the next time that I find myself...

"Excellent customer service, especially from the lovely hotel manager who helped us park our car and gave a lot of information about Hamburg. He was very nice to all of our family - including our 2 teenagers. We were there for the Christmas Markets and the location was perfect. Great coffee shop on the corner close by is recommended for breakfast. Room was great and had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. Close to shops, sights and I would definitely stay again. "

"Oberdeck is in a great location to explore Hamburg. It’s very close to transport, restaurants, and some great coffee. The apartment was compact but very clean and well equipped. The balcony is a great space. Our only issue was how hot it was upstairs in the bedroom even when it was cool downstairs and outside. A fan is supplied but it was still uncomfortable. The roof top deck is lovely. We would definitely stay again. "

"Maintenance man entered my room 3 TIMES and i was NAKED EACH TIME, IN BED!!! I was solo with my 6 year old daughter. He kept entering. Only spoke german. There is NO ONE AT THE APT. "Stayed for 4 nights, hotel location great for walking everywhere and main railway station. Hot drinks available free 24 hours a day and a central place to sit and chat with board games available and alcohol if you required it. Rooms were fine but wanted a 2nd pillow and none available. "
