"I had a fantastic stay at John’s, the home is full of character, the decor is Victorian style and flows so well. Breakfast is excellent and I found myself taking pictures of the setting, its all a bit lavish and movie like. Its quite special. The junior suite is lovely, with a skylight over the bed from where you can see the stars at night in bed and a living room, with a good variety of teas! "Lovely hotel and room, very friendly reception staff. Had our meal in the pub part, which was excellent (food and service). However the wine in the hotel (not pub) was expensive and not that nice. I left the first glass, but waiter didn’t comment. Disappointing to be charged for breakfast, when only had the small cooked one, which was cheaper than the continental which was included in our package."
