"Mama Shelter hotels are always funky and interesting. The Bordeaux one is in a quiet area but only a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we needed advice on how to get the to arena for a show. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night as we arrived late after a long day, but the service was non existent and the food average so I would avoid eating there as there are so many fabulous restaurants in the area. "Nice stay in Bordeaux, close to the center. In order to walk to the center, you cross a beautiful bridge (only for public transport, bikes and pedestrians). Also you can take a ferry in order to cross the river. Comfortable room with a big bed. Nice shower with good space. Very friendly staff. Petfriendly hotel!
