Central, clean and affordable
"Check-in staff were lovely despite unfortunately being subject to abuse from several other customers who hadn't read their small print and didn't seem to be aware that photo ID was required at check-in. Please take photo ID with you rather than turn into a screeching harpy at the desk, it's absolutely not necessary and your lack of reading properly is not the staff's fault.
The hotel itself is very central, super handy for Piccadilly Gardens if using the tram during your stay and just as handy for arriving on the train at Piccadilly station.
The hotel decor is probably a little dated but that doesn't bother me when I'm hoping to spend the majority of my time there sleeping. The hotel was clean, tidy and as a solo female traveller I felt safe throughout my stay.
If the price is favourable the next time that I go to Manchester, I wouldn't hesitate to book there again.
