"My only complaint would be the lack of air conditioning, as the weather was exceptionally hot in July 2023. Having said that, I was aware that the rooms didn’t have air on when I booked. The hotel provided fans for myself and my travelling companions."

"We stayed here for 4 nights. Wednesday through Sunday. There’s a bus stop right down the street but only until 7pm. If you come back to hotel after that the nearest bus stop is a 15-20 minute walk. And on Sundays the bus doesn’t run until 1pm- which was unfortunate because we needed to get to the airport- but staff arranged a taxi for us on Sunday morning which was fantastic. "The location was perfect. We loved being in the center of things. Breakfast was wonderful. The gentleman who checked us in was very abrupt and grumpy. He acted as if we were inconveniencing him to be there. Each question was given a vague, unhelpful reply. Perhaps it is time to retire, since he doesn’t appear to be enjoying his job anymore. Otherwise, lovely stay in an old world hotel."
