5/5 - Excellent
Much more pleasant than the public beach at Manuel Antonio. Less of a hustle and bustle and the waves were MUCH calmer than Manuel Antonio beach. small stands selling quick bites and a bar set-up made it pretty convenient.

This beach is yes a private beach, however it is private for a few different hotels. It is true that you don't have street vendors, but the the amount of people and the high tide there was not enough beach to go around. We spent most of our time in the water.
Pretty beach with chair, umbrella, etc rentals. However, it is so rocky it a challenge to wade in the water. You will need water shoes with a thick sole to navigate.
A long hike up and down, limited parking.
The beaches are excellent there.
Tricky entrance, but about a 3 minute walk into the woods places you on a pretty nice swimable beach
