"Hotel has delicious breakfast selections each morning marvelous team all around, rooms very clean , comfortable and surroundings are well kept . We also like proximity to church , train stations , restaurant Taverne in site serving delicious menus with great presentations . Also appreciate having coffee /tea in the atrium after long walks and felt safe walking around town even at late hours of night after visiting Christmas markets . "Nice, clean hotel right on the river. We arrived late and left early so didn’t experience much of the town, but we walked to a restaurant and it did seem like it would be a very nice place to stay. Mixed reviews on the pillows from my group. If you like soft, down pillows, you’ll have the best sleep of your life. If you need some substance to support your neck, you’re going to have a problem here. "

"The place at the lake was very nice It was great that we could eat outside Breakfast was lovely Everything was clean The beds sleep well and the bathroom and shower were nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful Patking is sometimes a bit difficult We did have a room with half lake view and that was super except for thechurchbell that start ringing every 15 min and starts at 6 in the morning and ends at 10 pm No mosquitos at night"

"The stay was great and close to everything. They gave us a free guest pass for staying for 4 days where you can get free bus rides within Interlaken and discounts. The food was also really good. This is a good hotel if you are planning to make Interlaken your base city."

What’s not to love.

"First visit to Switzerland. Absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t fault anything. Stayed in the duplex style room, amazing view overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. A very peaceful location being so high up. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again and staying here. Breakfast was included, good selection, including tea for us brits. 10/10 👍 (one negative, no tv in the upper room of the duplexes) "

"What a beautiful place to stay!! Right on the beautiful lake and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. Also 5 minutes from Interlaken West which you walk along a quiet road to get to the hotel - very nice since the town itself can be busy. Best time to go is for New Year’s as they have a huge festival the 1st and a parade the 2nd. 5 minutes from a very cute cafe called Velo, and very close to the Victoria hotel. Reception was fabulous. Gave you a free drink voucher to the restaurant next door (not sure if just for New Year’s). Also gave a transportation card if wanted but we walked everywhere. Then offered a bottle of water upon check out for our travels. Overall great location and place to stay! "
