"Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. "While the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road."

"My husband and I stayed here for two nights and loved it! Really helpful staff and a great location that is both very walkable and an easy bus ride to Wildeswil (which was much easier than walking to Interlaken Ost for the train). The room was clean, big, had a coffee machine. Breakfast was great and I definitely recommend you try the Hungarian restaurant two doors down (Hoppla Bistro). I would definitely stay here again."
