Bellevue, Seattle hotel rooms at the Independent

"I was in Seattle for a conference and this hotel worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the hotel was well situated. Downtown Seattle definitely feels grittier since I was here a number of years ago but the hotel itself felt safe and clean. I would definitely stay here again if I come back. There is no pool so it may not be exciting for families but it was great for my purposes. "

"The property and rooms were nice and clean, housekeeping did a great job. The surrounding area is unsurprising for Seattle but the property is very close to everything and walkable. Be warned, only cable is provided on the TV, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the stay was good!"

"Beautiful historical architechture, astoundly attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts that I've had for years. The location is close to many Seattle popular attractions. The only issue we had was with the TV remote. It's a little outdated, and was unresponsive unless you found the exact spot to aim it."

"We had a great 4 day stay. We didnt like the included breakfast but learned afterwards we could also use our vouchers at the coffee shop which WAS GOOD! The staff was pretty excellent with everything. They forgot to clean our room on day 3 but thats OK. The parking spaces SUCK if you drive a truck but still good good good. "
