Barnum is a quaint small town. The nearby town of Moose Lake is the same. The area is very pretty. It's only about a 40 minute drive to Duluth and the North Shore. Definitely worth staying at.

"The villas are getting old, they have done a nice job of updating the kitchen and baths, but most of the rest is vintage 1970's. the decks have weiht limits of 6 people which sounds scary, and the emergency exit deck is ready to fall off the building.
