Check out the Biodiversity Museum at the beginning of the Causeway, then stroll the length of it to find some fun restaurants: We loved Mi Ranchito in the evening, and Beirut (Lebanese) for lunch! Great views of Panama City skyline. Best to go morning or late afternoon, not in mid-day heat.

Need to Uber or drive there, but very nice place to walk and have lunch or dinner. Can get hot after awhile!
