"Nice but a little run down. Needs a bit of maintenance here and there. At its peak it would have been amazing. Check out the small private beach just below the hotel but bring provisions for the hike back up. Breakfast buffet is very good 4 stars. Other dining options are slightly limited but you're in Algarve! Also a bit noisy at night for those who go to be early, but this is a place for adults. The staff are the best thing about this place. "

"Lovely location but room rather tired and shabby. The room was supposed to be ‘executive’ but it was far from it. Breakfast generally good with plenty of choice. Bar drinks expensive. Majority of staff lovely and very helpful."

"Well we flew from the U.K. to discover that the hotel had closed down in April and Expedia had not told us. We then had to find accommodation in the busiest two weeks of the season (it was also the Portuguese holidays during the two weeks). So not a great Expedia experience!!! "
