"Overall the place looks pretty and clean. First second in the room saw a cockroach, named him george, squirmed for an hour but never saw him again. Reception looks so pretty like a 5 star place but thats where it stays. I would give the place 3 stars. Furniture is very old. Food and drinks are basic butive stayed in worse"

"I booked with Neptuno for a seven night stay as I was looking for somewhere away from the noise of the main clubs and it had the option of self-catering. The hotel and room was clean and tidy, room service was regular and thorough changing towels and cleaning the room. Reception gave good advice about the area and ordered taxi's as needed. I did feel that the price was a little high for the standard of hotel but it seemd to be a busy time to visit Tenerife generally so prices may have risen as a result. "

"We had a really nice stay at Sol Sun Beach. Nice hotel, great apartment, friendly staff and very good location. The breakfast buffet was good The only down sides were, the Wi-Fi was weak or non existent in most spots so make sure you have plenty data. The fridge was old and our wee cockroach friend made a dash under the pull-out sofa bed in the lounge - glad we werent using it. "The receptionist was lovely who checked us in.We were allocated Room 2016 which we found after about 15minutes. On entry to the room there was a musty smell, room very basic,thread bare towels and filthy shower. We had booked to stay 5 nights however we checked out after 1 night and found a different hotel in the area which was absolutely beautiful and top class.
