The restaurant breakfast and dinner buffets had a nice variety of food options as well. Watch out for monkeys in the morning - one tried to steal our cream and sugar during morning coffee on the balcony."

"Absolutely stunning property and surroundings! House and rooms are nice and clean but public spaces felt small for the 7 rooms (14 people). It is nice if you are happy to socialize and share space. Staff was amazing and accommodating - food was good, not amazing - a little hit or miss. We didn’t have the full board / all inclusive like others and I felt like the prices were high for Sri Lanka. "We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive.
