"The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but seems to be mostly complete. The beautiful bar was not open but opens in two days so 11th March I believe. The staff and lobby are is beautiful with a nice cafe on the side. The walk is less than 10 minutes from the train station and in a nice area quite a lot less noisy than the main streets just nearby. "Air conditioning on my room broke, it’s super warm, after letting the staff know they really try there best to help, on the middle of the night one staff brought a fan and unlocked the window, and they have building maintenance fix it right the next day, for me that’s a good job other than that everything on this hotel it perfect "

"We chose the Marriott based on it overall reputation and location as a family of 4 sharing a family room. Location was perfect and the majority of places we wanted to visit during were walkable which was ideal. We only had breakfast once and there was lots of choice for everyone, however we did think it was a little on the expensive side, so chose to eat out the rest of our break which did work out cheaper. "Old building that is converted into a hotel. Beautifully done. The W has actually two buildings. If you stay at one building and want to use the gym or pool, you have to cross the street. It's a very small street so it is actually charming rather than annoying. Pool and spa are GORGEOUS. I also stayed at the W in Barcelona but this one is definitely more impressive. THey also had a cool lounge on top of the building."

"An amazingly located hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. With easy walks from local transport and nearby attractions, it's a perfect choice for someone looking to explore. The hotel is also beautiful and steeped in local history. The staff are extremely polite and helpful, although the breakfast team needs to bump their awareness and speed somewhat as waiting 30 mins for the first coffee and cutlery is unacceptable. The buffet items are also often poorly stocked and overall the breakfast experience...
