"This resort was everything my husband and I wanted for a last minute relaxing getaway! I can’t say enough wonderful things about it! From the second we arrived, we were greeted so nicely, felt serene, and instantly relaxed. Great food options, wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, property, pool & beach all fantastic! "Amara Cay is beautiful. Everyone was polite and helpful. The beach and pool area were clean and relaxing. All rooms have a balcony except for room 209, which was our room and we paid for a balcony. No discount when that is what was advertised. Other than that it was wonderful."

"This is not an inexpensive resort but is a decent value. The property is huge with pools, beach, bars, and several activities (fishing pier, bikes, snorkeling gear, volleyball, etc. it is centrally located on Islamorada to restaurants and marinas. "

"Everything was lovely except I felt rushed on my departure date. A front desk representative knocked around 9am to find out what time I was leaving. If your check out policy is 11am, you should not knock on people’s door to find out what time they are planning on leaving. It doesn’t feel like a luxurious experience when you do.
