"Hotel was a 5 minute walk from the ferry. We had a sea view so could watch the ferries come and go. It was well soundproofed and very quiet. Room was clean. Beds and pillows rather hard. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They gave us advice on boat tours around the islands (amazing) local buses to the beaches (€1 at tabac store or €1.50 on the bus) The front desk rented beach towels for €4/day. "Amazing hotel in the hills with boulder and rock formations within the grounds and views over three hills. Breakfast was lovely with so many options, we ate too much. Also restaurant in the evening so good we ate there three times"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Genovese. Parking was simple and straight forward. The view from our room and balcony was simply unreal. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed dinner from the hotel restaurant twice and both meals were excellent. "We had a lovely week ! Staff all very pleasant and helpful . Rooms clean and a good size , bathrooms perfectly adequate . Lovely white fluffy towels . Swimming pool and surroundings perfect lots of loungers and umbrellas available . Kept meticulously clean . Food was mostly good but maybe not always food we are used to . "

"Lovely setting, very welcoming and a spacious room. The pool area and bar are the real standouts with the staff creating a great ambience. The hotel itself is quite isolated so a car is a must. The breakfast service was strangely dominated by a ‘Basil Fawltyesque’ head waiter who made the atmosphere of the dining room akin to the moon. I believe the hotel are aware! Overall recommended."

"The staff were so nice and accommodating! We didn’t have a car upon arrival and they set us up a rental immediately! They have a private beach within walking distance, but many amazing restaurants and beaches are reachable in a 5-10 min drive. The room was spacious and clean, a bit dated but gave beach house vibes and we weren’t spending much time indoors so we didn’t mind! Definitely recommend staying here. "

"Had a week's stay here mid-Sep, lovely little hotel. It's out of the town so you'll have to drive anywhere for food (hotel does minimum lunch snacks and no dinner). 15 minute walks to various gorgeous beaches. Gym is great (with a squat rack!). Pool is nice to sit around but the water is freeeeezing!"

They gave us advice on boat tours around the islands (amazing) local buses to the beaches (€1 at tabac store or €1.50 on the bus) The front desk rented beach towels for €4/day. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choices, and staff were happy to make us cappuccinos. The rooftop patio had lots of potential, with great views, but was rather neglected with a few sunbeds and armchairs but no real shade. The hotel was within walking distance of the beautiful harbour, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended."
