"Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

"Charming hotel on an island hillside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The morning buffet breakfast was all homemade with a combination of delicious eggs, smoked meats, grilled vegetables, pastries and cakes. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Ben spoke four languages and made all the arrangements we needed for excursions and scooter rentals. He literally puts his whole heart into his job. We would definitely recommend staying here. "We had a wonderful time in Salina at Santa Isabel. The hotel has amazing views . Also just a short walk to town and one of he most beautiful beaches. The staff were so helpful with renting of a boat and transport services . The restaurant was excellent and amazing sunsets. A special shout out to Paolo, Ramona and Massi who were so helpful and friendly!!!!"

"Sejour formidable dans un petit hôtel plein de charme. Le staff est extrêmement serviable, sympathique et attentionné. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le restaurant niche dans un terrasse décorée avec gout. La cheffe propose une cuisine de qualite, et la sélection de vins est très correcte. Un grand merci a Francesco et le reste de l'équipe, on était triste de quitter La Locanda pour notre prochaine destination, ce qui en dit long sur nottre expérience chez eux."

"Fantastic view of the sea and the island of Lipari from my own private terrace. Comfortable and clean room, with air conditioner to take the edge off the July heat. Very friendly service, including accomodating my early departure with an earlier than usual breakfast and even giving me a lift to the ferry terminal. I was traveling alone, but this would also be a great place to stay for a couple or a family."

"Amazing location, but the hotel is way overdue for renovation especially in the common areas. Staff was very helpful, but policies like having to pay 3 euro for a beach towel and every time you wanted it washed are at least strange. We had a nice stay overall. It could have been great if the owners would have made the much needed reinvestments."
