"Not really near the airport. Staff were friendly, hotel really clean. Good sized room however shower wasn’t very good and safe didn’t work (took 4 attempts for staff to sort it). Lounge area was nice with free coffee. "

"The hotel felt fresh and new throughout. The rooms are well equipped with a fridge, safe and plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom was also new and fitted to a high standard. The reception and bar area were both clean and spacious with a small shop with snacks to buy. The breakfast was a self-service arrangement with a good choice of healthy options. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again if I was visiting Essen. "
