"Right by the USS York which was wonderful. The hot tub was closed which was a big upset for the family. The property is great but shows it is in need of some upkeep. Rooms were spacious. Loved the huge bathroom and in-room fireplace. Service at the Fish House nearby was poor. Food was okay but certainly not memorable. "

"Fantastic 3 night stay! Hotel was surprisingly quiet for it's location. Plenty of dining and shopping options around, but the food at the hotel restaurant was above expectations. Staff was excellent - especially Luis and Rene. Hotel grounds and room were clean and spacious. Only downside was $10/night parking that started in Jan Will definitely stay again!!"

"This is a really nice hotel, but is lacking food service beyond a reasonable breakfast buffet. Charleston is, of course, an incredible restaurant town, so dinner is not an issue. But there's nothing nearby for a quick lunch. If they could address that, it'd be 5-stars. One tip: request a room that is NOT on the alley; the morning garbage collection reverberates loudly."
