"Five stars all the way from the staff, our room, and spa treatments. We didn’t dine in the restaurant but did have a drink at the bar. We would absolutely stay at the Rhinebeck location again as it is superior to their Skaneatles hotel which is tired and in need of a refresh."

"We have been coming here for years. #1 Reason is because Michael treats us like VIP'S, ALWAYS !!!! Is the reason we send so many friends and family there. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi, Unbelievable SUITES , View of the mountains, the lake and the trees are amazing. You see this view from everywhere. Yoga classes. Amazing activity room downstairs with pool tables, ping pong tables, lounges and more. GREAT GYM !"

"Nice spacious, clean room. But had no bath. Staff sent confusing messages changing appointments at spa and restaurant a few times due to weather they said. Main Elevator with carpet had strange smell. Otherwise hotel facility was nice. Have to walk to gym in basement of a nearby apartment building, which is a bit of an inconvenience. Nd front desk lady did not explain where gym was. So we walked around. Building inside trying to find it for a bit. There was no sign for it. View is nice...

"Excellent all around. My husband and I take at least one trip up to the Catskills area per year, but it’s usually twice, and this is the best hotel we’ve experienced. Service was lovely. Especially enjoyed the included breakfast with excellent coffee and plenty of options. Unbelievable water pressure in the bathrooms. Very close to Hunter for skiing, which was the draw for us this particular trip, and lots of hiking trails nearby. Cozy game room and fireplace in the evening. Only con/tip if you...

"Great stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "

"Carriage House was an absolute gem! It was stylish, cozy, and spacious. The morning coffee and baked goods for breakfast were outstanding - so good we found the local bakery and got more. It was such a comfortable stay and close enough for us to Rhinebeck. We are definitely planning on making a return trip in the future. "

"The photos of the unit were beautiful however the wear and tear on the actual property did not compare. The bathroom sink constantly leaked and because the floors were not even they stayed wet. The nightstands were broken the refrigerator would not open all the way. I also was not notified until the day of check in that the unit was on the 3rd floor and there was 2 flights of stairs just to get to the entrance to the unit."

"It's a beautiful place but rooms need upgrade. Old room no fridge or microwave. Went with a child and didn't have a fridge to put her milk in. It was very disappointing. Room next to mine was shut down under construction."
