"As stated above the hotel calls it self a 5* hotel. Which it is not. More like a 3.5*. Just because it is new doesn't mean it is 5*. The beds are comfortable. Small fridge was handy. Plus water purification was excellent to have. But a few small quirks that change my mind about staying again. When you leave and come back all the lights turn on in the room. Plus the AC unit sets the temp at 24C. So when you get back from being hot a sweaty all day you don't get a chance to cool off. ...

"The Mandarin Oriental Singapore is probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. This was my second visit, and once again, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent - easily accessible from the airport, and if you’re comfortable using public transportation, you can walk through the shopping malls and convention centre behind the hotel to reach a subway station. One of the highlights for me was the pool—having an evening swim while enjoying the stunning...

"The staff were absolutely beautiful. I had phone troubles and the girls at the front desk, particularly Yvonne went above and beyond to assist. A 15 walk from Clarke Quay on the river for good restaurants. The rooms are smallish and the bed was a bit hard for my liking but it was a lovely place to base ourselves. "
