" Nice short stay. 40 min drive to Cape Town and to airport so wasn’t bad for early drive for the flight. Air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival but it was fixed for our second night. "This hotel is in a great location if you want to visit Melkbosstrand, which in itself is a great area to visit in Cape Town. The hotel is modern and about 500m to the beach and restaurants. Things lacking… no wine opener to open a bottel of wine for 3 nights… apparently there is only one person who has one and they were off on the weekend… shower door doesn’t close so bathroom floor is very slippery… chair in room broken… no generator so during load shedding, no lights/tv/etc in rooms. "This property was located further out than expected due to the traffic going to all the tourist sites like Lions head, Cape of good Hope, etc. But if you are okay with a 30-40 Uber/Taxi ride then it’s an excellent place to stay. The staff was amazing, and even while they were short staffed they did an amazing job. I upgraded to Studio 3 since it was available and was worth every dollar spent. "Felt welcome as soon as we arrived, Thelma & Ronnie are a super friendly couple who make you feel at home. Room was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious & cooked exactly to our liking. The garden/pool area of this guest house is a super area to relax & spend time chatting & indeed drinking with the owners & other guests"
