"We stayed in the Kilauea condo, which is surrounded by tropical rain forest. Very romantic. Carlos prepared a nice breakfast for the two days that we stayed. We were blessed to be there one night when Kilauea erupted. The manager texted us and we were among the first people there. Amazing experience. The only negative is that the wifi is limited so download anything you want to watch before you come or enjoy the view and read a book"

"Gorgeous property, quiet and serene, loved sleeping to the rain. It is clear this place was a labor of love to build and is well maintained. The volcanoes national park was 5 mins away and so convenient. The little “town” of Volcano had good restaurants and art center. Would love to come back!"

"The property has two sides to it. We booked a two bedroom and ended up in the side with the one bedroom. The other side was the two bedroom part of the property (and the view in the photo). The property was very nice overall and typically very quiet with the sounds of nature being the only ones you heard so it was a good overall stay."

"This cabin is one of the most special places I have ever stayed in. Barry and Jim, the owners, take immaculate care of it. They stock it with breakfast foods (eggs, milk, coffee, fresh fruits, cereal, oatmeal, bread etc) for quick starts to the day. We loved coming back to the cabin after a long day in the National Park.
