"Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50. Very safe large car park.. Convenient...

"Very disappointed! Be careful when you book. The description on the website is not accurate. There is no mini bar or tea/coffee making facilities. If you require a drink you need to go to the bar. The hotel although there are certain improvements is very outdated. I suppose it sells well because of its location."

"I needed a last minute stay whilst on a motorcycle tour through Europe. I turned up as the kitchen was closing and the manager asked the chef if he would stay on to cook me a meal. I’m not fussy and let the chef cook what he had on hand, a selection of local cured meats, foie gras and crusty bread for an appetiser and an amazing dish of chicken, mushrooms and a white wine sauce. Truly a stay to remember if only for one night. "

"Great accommodations for a small mountain town. The building was gut renovated in 2019 after having sat dormant for years after the previous hotel on site was burned down. Loved the inside vibe though the decor inside the hotel rooms were a bit sparse (spacious though). For Americans, there is no AC (not particularly uncommon) so beware. Hostess was good at communicating late checkin procedures since we did not arrive at the property until 10 pm. Overall lovely stay with all our basic needs...

"Mixed review. We stayed on a Sunday evening. Be prepared to not be able to get anything food & drink wise at the hotel past 3pm. Staff were helpful in finding us restaurants nearby that would be open for dinner but without a car options were very very limited. Had a misunderstanding on checkout which whilst was an accident on their side I felt very awkward and uncomfortable about so service then was quite poor. Room was very clean. Lake view lovely. "The room was very basic. We booked a 4 bed room (because that’s all was available) but when we checked in it was a small 2 bed room. No amenities in the room such as tea/coffee. Quite expensive for the facilities."

"We were here to view the xterra triathlon. This is a tiny town but the accommodation was excellent with a nice staff and excellent breakfast and meal options. Sadly it was quite wet and rainy while there so we did not get to be out as much as we would have liked. Having this place as a refuge was welcome. "
