"The room, staff & breakfast were all excellent, parking was supposed to be secure, firstly you could drive in & out of the car park unhindered onto a busy main road, so no more safe than parking on the roadside. Secondly due to an event on at the hotel, parking was at a premium, the noise from the event could be heard in our room which was at the other end of the hotel & after a day of traveling, sleep was at the top of our list. "No one in reception. We eventually telephoned the hotel and the "owner", we were not sure who he was, appeared. We wanted an evening meal, We had driven half way through France so didn't want to go out again but were told we should have booked it when we booked the room. There was one other guest. The breakfast was fine, but he (the same man, he was the only person we saw) had not checked the fruit, a lot was bad. There was enough of everything including meats and cheese and fresh breads...
