"Front of building could have been cleaner"

"Good hotel about a 15 minute walk from town centre. Staff are friendly. Good value. A bit of road noise, but there are rooms on the other side of hotel which will be quieter. Amble parking and easy access. This is my 2nd time I've stayed and would recommend."

"The hotel suited us because of its position and concienience for our stay. The accomadation was what you should expect for a hotel of this grade. "Advertised as 4 star, but inside room evac.plan says 3 star . In reality a 3 star bar and restaurant and 2 star rooms. Rooms tired, i.e. walls dirty, wallpaper peeling, furnishings old, badly scratched, cobwebs, broken window fastening, mould in bathroom, shower eithef too hot or cold, toiletries (only soap dispenser) cheap. Bar closed before 2200hrs (staff said as only 4 customers it was pointless staying open) and would only offer beer, wine or tea after 2145hrs. When we made comment to...

"This was our second visit to Blue Nijmegen. Once again we were impressed by the staff, meals, cleanliness and comfort. The bed was so comfy that it was difficult to get going in the morning. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit snug, especially with the TV at the foot of the bed. We will be back!"

"Hotel room was sparse and utilitarian. It is not a room for comfort. The bed and pillow was very comfortable. Shower room large and good power. Mood lighting controlled by a remote control. Tea coffee facilities in room. No bathrobe provided although this is a spa facility. Towels in room can be used for spa but they are not bath sized.
