"It was a birthday trip & on my birthday. The hotel left treats & a birthday note in our room, which was a nice touch. On our last night (thursday) a bar was playing drum & bass until 1am, the bass ran through the whole room, buzzing the walls. Like a too loud stereo in a car (obviously not the hotels fault) but glad we were not saying over a weekend, as I would assume it would mean... no sleep "

"A really nice stay in a brilliant city. The hotel was in a really good location, not far from the parliament, royal palace and waterfront. The room was large and comfortable for a family of 4. The complimentary breakfast was great, with gluten free options."

"The only thing I still don't like is the protruding drawer under the bed, which you can easily scrape your legs on if you don't bear it in mind when you get out of bed. It would also have been nice to have a breakfast option other than 'full breakfast' - such as a roll and coffee."

"Located less than 5 minutes from Danmarksplass tram stop (on the direct line from the airport to Bergen city centre), this was in the perfect location for me. The hotel was clean, felt safe and was a very good price. It was unusual to not have a TV in the room - but I didn't need on anyway. The hotel had a luggage storeroom which I was able to access before check-in - this allowed me to drop my bags mid-morning and go into the city centre for the day.
